If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you know I’m a longtime fan of Pink Blush. I first discovered the brand when I was pregnant with Willow and desperately seeking pretty maternity clothes that didn’t break the bank. When it was time to transition out of maternity dresses and pants into regular clothing again, I returned to Pink Blush Women’s to kickstart my new wardrobe. I’ve never looked back.
Recently, I’ve been in a bit of a hole (if you haven’t noticed, it’s been a little while since we’ve spoken fashion here on BTBAB). With Willow’s second birthday, the holidays, a rush of politics, and some amazing yet time-consuming changes going on behind the scenes here, I haven’t had much time. But with a change of season coming soon (right? I can’t be the only one who’s holding out hope for a fast approach of spring), I decided it was time to shake off the winter funk and show you my current favorites.
If you’re looking for basics that dress up or down, Pink Blush is going to be your new go-to. One of my favorite pieces from them ever is a four-seasons draped maxi dress in the stretchiest, most luxe fabric that embraces every curve without emphasizing any bumps and serves as a complete outfit, no accessories needed. Just throw it on, pair it with some shoes, and head out the door. Not to disappoint, the brand has many dresses on offer in this exact same style — in both maternity and standard sizing, and from damask to floral to solids, you’ll find your favorite(s) fast.
But this season I decided to make a long story short and chose a knee-length swing dress instead of another maxi. I love the thick, but not stiff fabric of this sweet little dress and the pretty floral pattern in peach set on gray. As a mom I don’t often have a lot of time to put into wardrobe planning, so a closet full of easy pieces like this is just about a must. And as if there weren’t enough wonderful things to say about the dress, it has pockets for a little something extra. Seriously, what’s not to love?
Another easy tip to glamming-up your average day in Momville is a roomy tunic to pair effortlessly with jeans or leggings, with a special design detail to elevate the look. This striped top does all of the above, with a panel of contrast sequins from the elbow to the wrist. I sized up one from my usual small figuring the medium would create the oversized look I love for a casual tee without looking frumpy, and I was right!
Alright, enough about me: let’s get to the fun part for you. I don’t know a mom out there who couldn’t use a little treat right about now.
