Springing Out of Winter for the Chic Mama — And a Giveaway with Pink Blush!

If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you know I’m a longtime fan of Pink Blush. I first discovered the brand when I was pregnant with Willow and desperately seeking pretty maternity clothes that didn’t break the bank. When it was time to transition out of maternity dresses and pants into regular clothing again, I returned to Pink Blush Women’s to kickstart my new wardrobe. I’ve never looked back.

Recently, I’ve been in a bit of a hole (if you haven’t noticed, it’s been a little while since we’ve spoken fashion here on BTBAB). With Willow’s second birthday, the holidays, a rush of politics, and some amazing yet time-consuming changes going on behind the scenes here, I haven’t had much time. But with a change of season coming soon (right? I can’t be the only one who’s holding out hope for a fast approach of spring), I decided it was time to shake off the winter funk and show you my current favorites.

If you’re looking for basics that dress up or down, Pink Blush is going to be your new go-to. One of my favorite pieces from them ever is a four-seasons draped maxi dress in the stretchiest, most luxe fabric that embraces every curve without emphasizing any bumps and serves as a complete outfit, no accessories needed. Just throw it on, pair it with some shoes, and head out the door. Not to disappoint, the brand has many dresses on offer in this exact same style — in both maternity and standard sizing, and from damask to floral to solids, you’ll find your favorite(s) fast.

But this season I decided to make a long story short and chose a knee-length swing dress instead of another maxi. I love the thick, but not stiff fabric of this sweet little dress and the pretty floral pattern in peach set on gray. As a mom I don’t often have a lot of time to put into wardrobe planning, so a closet full of easy pieces like this is just about a must. And as if there weren’t enough wonderful things to say about the dress, it has pockets for a little something extra. Seriously, what’s not to love?

Another easy tip to glamming-up your average day in Momville is a roomy tunic to pair effortlessly with jeans or leggings, with a special design detail to elevate the look. This striped top does all of the above, with a panel of contrast sequins from the elbow to the wrist. I sized up one from my usual small figuring the medium would create the oversized look I love for a casual tee without looking frumpy, and I was right!

Alright, enough about me: let’s get to the fun part for you. I don’t know a mom out there who couldn’t use a little treat right about now. So I’ve partnered with Pink Blush to offer one lucky reader a $50 gift card! You can use your card at Pink Blush Maternity or Shop Pink Blush for Women’s, so this is a huge win for both expectant mamas and those who just need a pick-me-up for Spring!

Entering is easy: all you have to do is follow both @shoppinkblush and @willow_primrose_ on Instagram, and comment below. You can tell me in the comments how you’d spend the $50 gift card, or weigh in with your favorite mommy fashion tip. That’s IT! I will pick a random winner within 7 days and announce the winner on our Facebook page. Please make sure when you comment that you do so under your true email address so that I can easily get in touch for your gift card info should you win!

  6. This mama needs a spring treat! I shopped Pink Blush Maternity when I was pregnant, and loved all of the dresses, tunics, and pants I purchased. Now that baby is almost 1, I’m eager to revamp my spring wardrobe with some pieces from Pink Blush Women’s.

  7. I would use the prize to buy the Navy Blue Zipper Front Top. My favorite mommy fashion tip is to use layering with some stylish blazers or cardigans to help draw attention away from some of the problem areas and it can also still be a chic look. And we can always rock some awesome accessories and shoes no matter what size we are. I relied on this heavily for many years!

  8. Thanks for today’s blog! After returning to the workforce last fall after eight years at home in always excited to find new places to shop for MOM clothes. And by that I mean pieces that can dress up a little for work and still be comfy, and still keep me in style. I want one of everything!

  9. I love all of the Kimonos! I’ve been working on losing some weight and they would be a perfect piece for in between sizes!

  10. Hi ahh I definitely need this. My clothes include my husband out grown t-shirts … BC I lost my job and we have way too many health problems.

  11. I would love to get something sweet for the party/shower. The best part about pink blush is all their pieces that go from maternity to after baby. Making it easy to look cute, even while rockin that after baby pooch!

    1. I couldn’t agree more! A lot of my maternity stuff lasted me long through breastfeeding and helped cover that post partum pooch! xx

  12. I would use the gift card to get some new spring dresses for my wardrobe. I’m down 40 pounds and none of last years fit anymore!

  13. As a mom of four, with the youngest being born a little over five months ago, my body is a work in progress. I’m still learning to dress and style a body shape I’m not completely comfortable with. I would use this gift card to find a the perfect transitional (no longer pregnant but not really in pre-pregnancy shape) piece to wear to my husband’s upcoming 30th birthday!

  14. LOOOOVE pink blush! Like…all of it. I’m still working on getting back into shape from Aurora but would really like to get a new cute top for spring or some adorable loungewear. Such a fun giveaway!

    1. Don’t they have the cutest stuff? The process of getting back into shape is as important as the finish line! Style yourself up and enjoy — you deserve a treat! xx
